The lid pocket net is installed into the interior of the lid using the provided screws. Place the screw through the designated location on the net and screw into the screw holes on the interior of the lid.

The shelf will sit on the grooves of the front and back panel and the divider will slide down in the middle of the deck box and sit in between the grooves of the front and back panels.

Question

What type of plastic is the deck box built from?

I need to ensure it weather sealed for a period of 1year as it will be left in a remote location so wish to seal all joins using something like Sikaflex, silicone or epoxy. For this to work I need to know what sort of plastic ie what will adhere successfully?

Most of our products are made from polyethylene and polypropylene. One of the features of these plastics is that they are easy to clean because materials do not adhere well to them. Unfortunately, this property prevents adhesives or paints from sticking well. We know of no way to change this fundamental property of the plastic at the point of use.

Do you make a cover for the XL bench?

I have found if you protect plastic from UV rays it will last many more years. A cover system for the days you don't plan to use it would be great.

We do not make a cover system for the lid of the XL-Storage Deck Box. Our sheds and deck boxes are made of weather resistant material.

What accessories go with this?

I purchased one of these from The Home Depot last year. I was really impressed with how sturdy it was, and the accessories it came with. We were so impressed we purchased another one (5E39)again at Home Depot this spring. I don't feel like I got the same product. There is noticeably a difference in quality and no accessories contained within the box. We want what we originally purchase in the fall. Is it a different model number? It sounds like I have the right model number according to the previous Q&A's associated with this product?

The Deck Box with Accessories has been discontinued and is no longer available. The #5E39 XL Deck Box is the same model as what was sold with the accessories.
