Please note that the wood brackets are made to fit existing wood shelves measuring 5/8" to 3/4" thick x 12" deep.

Adjusting the shelves is easy with the built-in hand levers. Simply squeeze the levers to release and move the shelves up and down, along the support straps.

Each shelf holds up to 10 lbs and hang bar holds up to 20lbs, in conjunction with a properly installed shelving system.

The Max Add-On Closet Organizer comes with hardware that either clips onto your existing wire shelving or slides over your wood shelving. To see how it works, check out the assembly instructions.

The shelves are designed to work with 12” deep wire shelving, so they sit flush against the wall of the closet. The attachment brackets will work on 1” or ½” (Tightmesh) spaced shelving.

The telescoping rod fits into notches in the metal frame of the closet organizer.

The hang rod can be placed in 3 different places, between the metal towers. For most adults clothing, it’s recommended that the hang bar be attached in the top notch of the bottom frames. This will provide 34-37”(depending on whether your existing shelf is wood or wire) of hanging space between the existing hang rod and the Max Add-on hang bar. For smaller children’s or baby clothing, you can attach the rod at the higher location on the unit.
