The Clean & Dry™ plunger helps keep your bathroom cleaner and more sanitary. Traditional plungers pick up germs and bacteria that can spread when dripped on floors or in cabinets. The Clean & Dry plunger head and pole is protected with NeverWet™ coating, which forms a protective shield around them that water cannot penetrate. It works like car wax, the water beads up and rolls off instantly.

Because of the need to keep oils from hands, dogs away from, etc., to protect the coating, why don't you have a protective cover for this product?

It does not come with one. You'll want to store it where kids/animals can't get to it.

We do not currently manufacture a "holder" for the plunger. Given the coating sensitivity to oils and soaps, we recommend you store your Clean & Dry™ plunger in a linen closet, bathroom cabinet or another place where it will not be handled unnecessarily.

Because water and germs do not penetrate or cling to the plunger, it is not necessary to clean it. However, for peace of mind, you can clean it with bleach. Please do not use soap, as that may affect the coating.

No, warnings to avoid touching the head and pole are for performance reasons. The natural oils in your skin will diminish the performance of the NeverWet™ coating.

As the natural oils in your skin will diminish the performance of the Clean & Dry plunger, we recommend storing the plunger out of reach of pets and children in areas such as a linen closet or bathroom cabinet.
