The Filter Fresh Bottle is freezer safe but the filter is not. If you plan on freezing water in your bottle, make sure that the filter is not submerged. Freezing the water in the filter will damage the filter.

Our Filter Fresh Bottle is 20 oz. and the filter will last up to 300 uses. This is equivalent to 6,000 oz. or 46.875 gallons.

To clean the Filter Fresh Bottle, first remove the filter by unscrewing it from the lid. The bottle and lid may be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher, or hand wash with soapy water. Do not place the filter in the dishwasher, as it is not dishwasher safe.

It is recommended that the filter be replaced after 3 months of use.

There is not an on or off position for the filter. Before first use we recommend filling the bottle with water, closing it up and passing water through the filter into the sink. This only needs to be done once, but will remove any loose particles. To use the bottle you will remove the bottle lid with filter attached, fill the filter bottle with water up to the bottom of the blue cuff, then replace and tighten the lid. For best results you will want to squeeze the bottle while you drink from the spout.

To track the lifecycle of your filter, use the blue dial on the bottom of your filter. Turn the dial to the month that you should replace the filter. The filter life is about 3 months.

If something other than water is placed into the bottle and filter such as Crystal Light or mixes the sugars and flavor components will fill in the holes of the activated carbon and non-woven media changing the taste of the drink, reducing the life of the filter and the filter will not work properly again.

The filter attaches to the underside of the lid. The hole on the bottom of the lid is threaded so that the filter can screw into it, allowing the water to be filtered as you drink.
