We need more 4 foot shelves.
We have bought several (enough for 6 large closets) of the Configurations 4'-8' kits in satin nickel finish for the closets in our new home (Our packages did not say classic or deluxe??) and had PLENTY of all the parts, except shelves. We would like about 4 more of the 4' shelves. Can we get them without buying more kits? We do not want more of the 2' shelves, as the closets are about 10' in length and piecing the 2' shelves together is undesirable.

I was looking at the shelf brackets in a store and no one could show me. How to attach the shelving to the brackets without bending the shelf unit.
I also just purchased the uprights but I donot understand the 22 inch space. Is it center to center , edge to edge or what?

The uprights for the HomeFree and Configurations systems should be spaced 22" apart, from inside to inside (meaning there will be 22" of wall space between each upright).
When installing Shelf A onto the bracket, the front lip of the shelf should be placed onto the front of the bracket. "Lay" the shelf down so that the back wire rests in the front notch of the bracket. If you need to overlap the shelving on the bracket, Shelf A must be installed first, followed by Shelf B. Once you lay Shelf B down into the bracket, it will seat in the back notch between Shelf A and the upright.
Each kit will include assembly instructions that explain the installation of the uprights and the shelving into the brackets.

Question
How do you remove labels?
I just bought a Rubbermaid shelf and RUINED it trying to remove the Rubbermaid Label. I have had this problem many times in the past with your products. The adhesive is not removable and ends up being a magnet for dirt. Any suggestions? I would think that in this day and age there would be a better adhesive product you could use for your labels. This is SO frustrating and annoying.

Our suggestion for removing the adhesive label (or the store's price sticker) is to use a small amount of cooking oil.
Rub the oil into the label to soften it and loosen the adhesive to a point where you can lift off the label and wipe away any remaining adhesive. If after removing the label you still feel stickiness, place a liberal amount of talcum powder on that area, allow it to stand for approximately 30 minutes, then rub it off. These removal methods will not harm the finish of the product in any way.

Are the shelf brackets for the Configurations compatible with the uprights for the Fast Track? I would like to mix and match some of the Configuration
I have a large closet and would be served best with the fast track system. but i have seen some of the accessories for the Configurations that would be nice to add on.I am aware of the 22inch spacing for the uprights.

What are the shortest 12" shelves available for the Configurations adjustable kits?
We LOVE the new Classic Configurations 4-8' kit we just bought for our kids' room. We'd like to add more shelving, but the 26" length is just a wee 1 1/2" too long for what we'd like to do. We hate the thought of cutting the shelf - the whole draw of the system is that we wouldn't have do any cutting. (We just don't have the tools.) Or, if they aren't available, would shorter wire shelves/brackets from another kit fit the Configuration's upright?

What to do if missing parts from kit
We purchased 2 HomeFree 6-10' kits from lowes. The box states it has 4 48" rods and 4 26" rods, but only 2 of each were in the boxes. Is the box not accurate? or are we missing parts?

The original HomeFree packaging for the 6-10' Kit did provide an incorrect number of hang rods included; this was corrected shortly thereafter to reflect the correct amount of two 48" and two 26" hang rods.

Our closet in in a bedroom downstairs of a split level ranch and I was worried it wouldn't work because the lower portion of the wall comes in further than the top to accommodate the foundation block but the rails come in 4' sections which fit perfectly on the top section plus if you need it longer or shorter the rails overlap to whatever length you desire... very versatile!

The 3'-6' Deluxe Kit comes with 2 36.25" shelves and 6 26.25" shelves. These shelves can be mounted separately but they are also designed to be overlapped to expand to your desired measurements.

Brackets
Do you make any shorter brackets other than the 12" ones? Also, do you have brackets that have the clothes rod slots closer to the standard (the base end)? Both of these would help in our narrow closet. As it is, our clothes will have to hang at an angle because of how far the brackets come out. If you had more rod hanging slots in the brackets, then we could move the rod hanging brackets so that our clothes wouldn't have to hang at an angle. Thanks

The Configurations Closet System only accommodates one size bracket, which is 12". We do not manufacture a shorter bracket or a bracket with the rod hanger locations closer to the rear of the bracket.

We actually mixed our sets and had enough left over to organize a 4 foot wide space in our laundry room. My husband had to use his grinder to cut some pieces but it worked.

I know the standard pre-configured options for the various sizes (3-6 feet, 4-8 feet, etc.) come in 12" depth shelves. However, I wanted those shelves in 16" depth. Is that doable?

The difference is the amount of shelf space provided by each kit. The Deluxe Kits will have more shelving than the Classic Kits.
