The Rubbermaid Large Storage Shed is extra deep to fit those large, hard to store items. It can fit push mowers and adult bicycles straight in the shed without having to turn them making your life a little easier. The double wall construction provides an extra layer of protection from the elements. Unlike wood sheds, it is maintenance free and will not rot or rust. Our wall anchor system allows easy installation of shelving, pegboard and other accessories.

The shed has been standing in Western Colorado for about a year and is still the original color and not deteriorating. I have another smaller shed that has taken 5 years outside with good results. To get keep the color make sure to apply ArmorAll periodically leaving the product on 24 hours before wiping away excess.

The Rubbermaid Storage sheds do contain a UV prohibitor to protect them from sun damage.

Any hardware will have a lock to fit. m Think back to you Junior High days and the lock on you locker.

The shed is supplied with a lock hasp, which protrudes through the doors so it can be locked. The lock hasp will accommodate a lock shackle up to 1/4" in diameter.

Can I make holes in floor/wall?

I am looking for a structure to enclose my well. However, I will need to put holes in floor and or wall to accommodate inlet/outlet piping.

We do not suggest drilling through the walls or floor panels, unless specifically stated in the instructions for locations such as screws or anchors.

Can I build the shed 5L30 & then move it into a tight spot, tight like 3 inches to spare.?

I have 58 inches between my garage and wall. Can I build the shed and move it into place?

If the shed is built on a hard surface like cement or blacktop you can push the shed around with ease. If on grass or dirt you will have to arrange 2x4s laid flat on the ground to slide it into place.

It is not suggested to move our storage sheds once assembled. The shed should be assembled at the location it will be used.

Question

Is the storage shed 5L30 water tight

I am remodeling my home and will be needing to store a great number of books temporarily. (I know climate controlled is much less expensive). I will be disposing on my old shed at that time and would like purchase a new shed that is maintenance free. Your product description matches my second criteria, and I wonder if I matches my first. If so I will be interested in purchasing more than one.

Rubbermaid sheds are made of weather-resistant materials. They are water resistant, but are not guaranteed to be waterproof.

The Roughneck Large Storage Shed includes wall anchors that allow you to hang uprights and pegboard on the walls of the shed. We recommend the Rubbermaid Twin Track upright system or the Rubbermaid HomeFree upright system. You may view these products on our website. After choosing the system you wish to use, click on the "Other Shopping Options" tab to view retailers that carry that specific product.

Rubbermaid sheds all inclue a heavy duty, impact resistant floor. We do not manufacture a foundation kit. You may choose your foundation based on the recommendations listed on the instructions sheet for each shed.
