This cooler’s extra thick insulation keeps ice up to 5 days at 90° F. Its hinged, split lid allows easy access to contents without letting all the cold air out. The retractable pull handle is easy to use, and the dual material wheels can go the distance. Convenient cup holders are located on the lid.

Question

The drain plug for my cooler broke off and is lost. Where can I find a replacement?

I am not exactly sure which model I have but it does have wheels, a split lid, and the handle is on the back of the cooler (as opposed to the side).

Replacement drain plugs for current coolers are available by calling the Rubbermaid Consumer Service Department at 888-895-2110. Office hours are 8:30AM to 5:00PM EST Monday through Friday. Before calling, please locate the molded in number on the bottom of your cooler so that we can identify your product and give you accurate information.

Keep the handle mechanism (as with any mechanism) lubricated with light machine oil. If neglected, the mechanism may require penetrating oil, a time to soak, then a tap with mallet or hammer on a spacer positioned on the top of the handle to regain free movement. Always wipe off excess oil after lubrication.

The handle can be lubricated using a product such as dish soap or WD-40 to help it collapse into the base.
