Sure, if you don't mind waiting over the sink for 5-10 minutes while the water drasins out of the body. It gets in by way of the hole for the handle to attach to the body.

This item should be hand washed. We do not recommend placing it in a dishwasher.

Looking for a replacement handle

We purchased a 8.31" x 8.41" FG156006MODBL 1560 1 Gallon jug earlier in the spring. The handle has snapped off. Do you sell a replacement handle for this product?

Gosh. I've had the same issue twice. I wish that Rubbermaid offered replacement handles, but apparently they do not.

Is there an o-ring around lid perimeter?

My jug is leaking where lid attaches to body making it difficult use. Is there a sealing o-ring around the perimeter of the lid?

In my experience with three of these jugs (one and two gallon versions), there is no o-ring seal around the outer lid. However, I've not experienced leaking from the lid when being careful to ensure that the lid is threaded on correctly and "snugged" down to the jug.

The lid does not currently have a gasket or o-ring. If you feel your Rubbermaid item is defective and failed shortly after purchase, we ask that you contact our Consumer Services Department toll free at 888-895-2110, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, M-F.

1) Place the black O-ring in the lid.
2) Place the spout on the lid in the closed position.
3) Press firmly on the spout until both sides snap into place.
4) Open and close the spout to verify it functions properly.
