No it doesn't the unit is all self contained. You just install and use.

This item does require installation on tracks. You will mark your location where you are placing the tracks in your cabinet and then drill holes using a 1/8" drill bit and attach the track with screws. After installing the tracks then you will place the lid and pan organizer to the track.

What country is this product made in?

I try to buy things made in the USA or, at the very least, from a democratic country, so I wanted to know where this product was made before purchasing it.

The #1H33 Slide Out Lid & Pan Organizer metal track and grid are made in China. The plastic tray is made in Malaysia.
