Measurements are always to the widest point and tallest point. That would make the measurement on these wastebaskets at the outside of the rim.

The model 2846 wastebasket which was used in cabinets was discontinued in 1993. Our current models 2805 and 2806 are currently the most similar to the discontinued can.

The exterior dimensions for the 2805 are 8" x 13" x 15" high.

The exterior dimensions for the 2806 are 14.5" x 11" x 18" high.

The discontinued 2846 dimensions were 15 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 18" high.

We do not manufacture any wastebaskets in a dark green color. The 8 Gallon wastebasket is currently available in white, aquamarine and bisque.

The 2805 is an open top wastebasket that does not come with a lid, nor do we sell lids to fit this model.

The #2846 Wastebasket was discontinued in 1993 and is no longer available.

Dimensions are not currently available for the bottom of the wastebaskets. Our current dimensions are the outermost measurements of the product.

The #2806 Wastebasket is not manufactured with a lid; we do not offer a compatible lid from another product for this can. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

We do still manufacture the 2806 open wastebasket. The dimensions listed on our website are the exterior dimensions which are taken from the largest and widest part of the can. We do not provide interior dimensions.
