Thank you for interest in our storage totes.

Retailers expect that Rubbermaid will sell them only products with fast turnover in their stores. We depend on living up to this expectation.

We closely monitor the sales of our products, and conduct surveys several times each year to detect changes and strong trends.

You may be sure that we will introduce more tote sizes as soon as the demand for it becomes greater.

Plasticizers, such as adipates and phthalates, are used to soften certain types of plastic (primarily PVC). PVC is recognized by the recycling code #8.

BPA is a chemical used in polycarbonate plastic, recycle code #7 OTHER.

Our Roughneck totes are made of #4 Low Density Polyethylene and do not contain phthlate or BPA. Please note these containers have not been tested for food storage.

We have found that commercial grade and mailing labels tend to stick to our totes.

Most of our products are made from polyethylene and polypropylene. One of the features of these plastics is that they are easy to clean because materials do not adhere well to them. Unfortunately, this property prevents adhesives or paints from sticking well.

For a 9-12 gallon storage tote, we recommend that they be stacked no more than 4 high and not exceed 20 pounds of evenly distributed weight.

Note that this is a guideline, and the density and shape of the contents may reduce stacking performance. Elevated temperature conditions may reduce stacking performance.
