No. I ordered a replacement door today. I inquired whether the door hinge pins were improved since so many people have an issue with them. The rep told me they weren't changed because the issues I have aren't a defect in the product.... If they don't stand up to regular use, I consider that a quality issue.

In most instances we have found that the doors on this shed have not been properly locked and were exposed to wind damage causing the hinge pins to break. This is not a defect in the product, it is a result of not properly securing the door panels correctly.

Question

Sliding Lid on #3752 lockable?

on the product review tab for this shed is posted this comment:
Date: October 27, 2010
This shed went together very easily. I assembled it alone in under an hour. I agree with others that it should be completely level in order that all pieces fit together perfectly. I had to force a few. The locking door is a joke. You can lock the door, but the roof slides back and anyone can reach into it. Can't say about durability yet. Overall it seems good though.

My question:
Can the sliding lid be locked so that it cannot be slid back unless the owner wants to slid it?

The Slide-Lid shed has a lock mechanism that secures the roof of the shed. The lock is fastened to the top of the door during assembly, and when flipped up into the groove on the roof, it prevents the lid from sliding back.

Select a location that is level and has good ground drainage. Choose an area that does not have soft ground, it must be a solid surface. After placing the floor panels in the area, use a level to insure that the floor is level before proceeding with assembly.

Question

where are the inside dimensions measured

Inside Dimensions: 4'1"w x 5'10"d x 3'10"h.
for example the height is 46 inches. Is that from the bottom to the highest point or the lowest point of the roof. The roof looks like it is higher in the middle. Also the front/back roof looks to be different heights. I have 2 trash cans I want to put in this. Both are 46 inches tall. Will that fit?

The #3752 Slide Lid shed does not have a separate hinge pin. The connecting pins are actually part of the panel.

The doors of this shed have a molded pin on the bottom that insert into the floor. In addition, there is a molded pin on the each side panel that inserts into the top of the door.

To order replacement parts, please contact our Consumer Services Department by calling toll free 888-895-2110, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. We accept VISA and MasterCard.

Be sure to locate the molded in part number found on the panel you wish to replace before calling so that we can identify the part you wish to order as all sales are final.

Inside dimensions for Slide-Lid Storage Shed

Product width is 60 in. According to your web site, the internal width is 49 in. Is this correct internal width? What happened to the other 11 in.? I need to store a 50 in. width mower and this would be a great solution for me since the HOA prohibits storage buildings.
