Are there any openings in the Medium Deck Box that insects can get through?

I am looking for a deck box to provide year-round storage for six cushions and other patio accessories. I need something that is fairly tight. Does this deck box fill the bill?

The deck boxes are leak-resistant, dent-resistant, and weather-resistant. They do not seal airtight and are not insect repellent.

We recommend that you use liquid dish soap and allow it to soak into the paint for awhile, then use a soft-bristle brush to scrub off the paint, then wash with a sponge. It will require multiple applications.

If you are not in a hurry, over the course of several months, the paint will probably come off on it's own, as paint does not adher well to the material and will peel off.
