In order to assist you we will need to identify the model number of your item. Before calling, please be sure to locate the molded in part number found on the inside of the door.

Our sheds are made from polyethylene. One of the features of this plastic is that they are easy to clean because materials do not adhere well to them. Unfortunately, this property prevents adhesives or paints from sticking well. We know of no way to change this fundamental property of the plastic at the point of use.

We recommend that you allow approximately 3 feet of clearance in front of the Big Max Sheds to allow room for the doors to fully open. In addition, you need to allow about three feet on each side of the shed to assemble the shed and to allow for clearance on each side of the shed to open the doors fully.

The larger door is 32.5 inches wide.

Most of our plastic molded products have a recycling code molded into the plastic on the underside of the item. It is a triangle with a number inside and letters along the bottom. This code indicates the material from which the product is made.

The sheds are made of hi-dentisy polyethylene (HDPE)

We closely monitor the sales of our products by colors, and we conduct consumer color preference surveys several times each year to detect changes and strong trends. As these trends change, we update and refresh our colors.

The unit should be disassembled following the instructions in reverse order, then reassembled at the new location. We do not recommend moving our sheds while assembled.

The Big Max Jr color was changed several years ago and there is no way to purchase this shed in the older color combination.

We do not recommed continuously dis-assembling and re-assembling of our sheds, however if you need to take it apart to move it, you would follow the assembly instructions in reverse order. It should probably take the same timeframe it took you to originally assemble it.

The Big Max Extension Kit was discontinued in 2004 and is no longer available. Extension kits are no longer offered for our storage sheds.

The hole in the lock hasp is 0.300 diameter and will fit a lock having up to a ¼” diameter shackle.

The door clearance for the Big Max, Jr is 59 3/4" W x 71 1/2" H.
