What can be done with discoloration of sink mats(1295);also does not "lie flat"?

cannot stand glasses on mat(have 2 of them-neither one lies flat)

I have never had this problem with a rubber maid mat but I wrapped another one in a wet dish towel and put it in the microwave flat for a few seconds. Let it cool on a flat surface and that other mat stayed flat.

the sink mats that you make #1295

I am looking for your sink mat where they didn't take out the centre hole, saw them last year but all the ones we see now have the centre piece removed, if you leave it in place it can work for the offset drain...???

The #1295 Sink Protector is only available with the center hole cut out.

Our #1G17 and # 1G16 Sink Mats do not have a center hole.

What can I do to stop mold from forming on sink mat 2195

I soak the mats in bleach water but the mold is back in a few days. How do you stop this mold from forming?

Molds that cause mildew flourish wherever it is damp, warm, poorly lighted and/or where air is not circulated. There is no absolute prevention or cure for the growth of mildew in areas where conditions for growth are favorable.

Cleaning with white vinegar may help remove any hardwater deposits on the item as well.

Earlier Sink Protector Product

At Lowes some time ago I bought a sink protector with a rectangular plastic frame with a hinged metal rack. Half is secured at one end of the rectangle, the other half hinges to access the drain. It is a wonderful product, do you no longer manufacture it?

The sink protector is top-rack dishwasher safe. It is not suggested to use a high heat setting or to put near the heating element as it can cause the item to warp or melt.

We do not currently offer an off-center drain hole in our sinkware items.

We closely monitor the sales of our products and conduct consumer preference surveys several times each year to detect changes and strong trends in our sinkware (and our other product lines). We use this information to determine the need for a new product or product change.
