We do not suggest putting the dish rack in the dishwasher as we have not tested it for such purposes.

To clean, place the sinkware in the sink and cover it with warm sudsy water and a little non-chlorine bleach. Allow it to soak overnight. Remove and rinse thoroughly.

We do not recommend the use of powdered cleansers or abrasive pads on the sinkware as these items would scuff the surfaces and allow stains to penetrate even deeper.

Question

Do you still make a 14" x 19" dish drainer that looks like the 6049

I would also like a drainer mat that drains on the short end and goes under the 14" x 19" dish drainer.

Our current plastic dish drainer that we manufacture is 13.92" x 12.65" x 4.55". We do not manufacture a larger drainer in the plastic version. The largest wire drainer we manufacture is 17.62" x 13.81" x 5.93". The drainboard that drained on the shorter side was model 1181 and was discontinued from our product line in 2005. We currently manufacture the twin and large drainboards that both drain on the wider side.

Question

Any plans of offering this in black?

This is the perfect size drainer to fit inside my sink. I've used your larger sizes for years on the counter-top. But, this color just doesn't work for me.

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with our Plastic Dish Drainer.

Retailers expect that Rubbermaid will sell them product with fast turnover in their stores. We depend on living up to this expectation.

We closely monitor the sales of our products and conduct color preference surveys several times each year to detect changes and strong trends. We will be sure to introduce the item in black if the demand is great enough.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in our products and will pass your comments on to our Research and Development Department for consideration.
