The difference between the two accessories, is that the Multi-Purpose Hook is open on the end and the Ladder Hook is closed.

The accessories can be used to organize your storage space as needed; be sure not to exceed the 50 pound weight limit on either of these two hooks.

Question

What is the exact inside width of the Fast Track Multipurpose Hook?

I know this might be an unknown to most people who will read this, but I have been pondering the idea of using this hook to hang my guitars on the wall in my practice room.

The narrowest part of my guitars' necks is 1" 11/16 and 1 3/4" respectively. The heaviest one of the 2 weighs around 9lbs, so I know that's not an issue. Just need to know what the exact inside width of the hook is, so I can determine whether or not it is a safe idea.
