TakeAlongs Twist & Seal™ have a twist-tight, leak-proof seal which make them great for storing liquids and snacks. Plus, if you need to microwave the contents, the handles stay cool when food is hot.
I have a set of the twist and seal with clear lids from like six months or a year ago. They don't explicitly call out BPA free. How can I know for sure if they are BPA free? They have 10Q44 on them. Thanks.
I also have a lot of the previous iteration of takealongs with the cloudy plastic, soft flexible. in both rectangular divided and square. I am assuming those do have BPA and I would need to replace them if I want to get rid of this. Can you confirm that? They are not on the website anymore.
The recycle code on the bottom of the containers indicate what plastic is used. The Twist & Seal containers are made of #5 Polypropylene plastic which is BPA free.
There is a 32 ounce Twist & Seal container, model number #7L08. If you are unable to locate this product in your area, it is available for purchase on www.everythingrubbermaidstore.com
