The TakeAlongs are freezer safe. They are also safe for reheating food in the microwave and are dishwasher safe.

Question

Did you know if you turn it upside down, you can use it to store bundt cakes?

I've often wondered why there were no large bowls that could also be used to transport cakes - it's such a pain to take a cake and then have to ask for the cake taker or buy a new one each time, but this large bowl fits perfectly over my famous poppyseed pound cake - Thanks Rubbermaid!

Thank you for providing your comment regarding our TakeAlongs Serving Bowl. We always appreciate hearing unique ways to store food with our food storage products.

As a quick note, we would like to state that the lid should not be used as a cutting surface. Also, the container should be carried from the bottom when used to store/transport a cake.
