The Bread Keeper can be used in or out of the refrigerator, based on personal preference. You may want to contact your bread's manufacturer for suggestions on how to store their bread.

Question

Does this version of the Bread Keeper come with the sliding tray inside?

I've seen a version from maybe the early 2000s that had a tray inside the larger container, which allowed easy loading and serving of the bread. This is the feature I most wanted from this Bread Keeper.

Question

Is it water tight/resistant?

I want to keep the bread in a cooler instead of in the heat and on the seat where it can (and currently does) get smashed. Will this container keep it dry? If not, does Rubbermaid make one that does? Or is more water resistant?

The Bread Keeper is not water-tight and could allow moisture/water inside the container. We do not currently offer a water-resistant bread keeper at this time; we do apologize for any inconvenience.
