150 Qt Gott™ Marine Cooler

This cooler’s extra thick insulation keeps ice up to 7.5 days at 90° F. Its large size can accommodate either 250 lbs of fish with 30 lbs of ice or 252 cans plus ice. It includes three Refreeze bottles that screw into the lid of the cooler and two Iceolator bottles that divide contents within the cooler. Stainless steel hinges, lid-latch and strap add durability.

The 150 qt Cooler measures 20.5" Deep x 45" Wide x 19" High.

Question

What sort of plastic is this?

I have an older GOTT cooler. One of the huge ones for whitewater rafting. Leaking at the outlet. I have a replacement outlet but the inner liner is cracked where the old outlet was overtightened. I'd like to patch over those cracks and continue using this cooler. My guess is that it's ABS... or is it PVC or what?

Most of our products are made from polyethylene and polypropylene. One of the features of these plastics is that they are easy to clean because materials do not adhere well to them. Unfortunately, this property prevents adhesives or paints from sticking well. We know of no way to change this fundamental property of the plastic at the point of use.

We do not manufacture ice packs that will fit in Ingloo Coolers. Our refreeze bottles only fit the Rubbermaid Coolers.

Why do you need ice if there are so many refreeze bottles?

I have an old Gott 12 cooler with one refreeze bottle in the lid, and it stays cold all day without adding ice. Why do you need to add additional ice to this cooler?

To achieve the extended day performance of the cooler, the recommendation is to use 1 lb. of ice per rated quart of the ice chest. The use of large cube, block ice or ice substitutes such as Blue Ice™ is recommended rather than shaved ice.

The Refreeze Bottles provided additional cooling and the Iceolator bottles allow the cooler to be divided into smaller sections.

The internal dimensions for the #2A75 Marine Cooler are 14.5" H x 14.5" D x 37.5" W.

The cooler is manufactured in the USA.
