Customer Questions & Answers for
Mini Pack

This Blue Ice® product keeps your food and drinks cool for that picnic, lunch from home or tailgate. It is reusable – just throw it in the freezer and reuse. It keeps things cool without the mess of ice and stays frozen longer than traditional ice will.

Questions & Answers for Mini Pack

Question

How Many Ounces Liquid in a Mini Pack?

It would be helpful to have ounces listed for various products, if not on the product itself, at least in the specifications. TSA rules only allow frozen packs to a certain ounce level, within a bag (3-1-1-rule applies) if they've started to melt and any "liquid" is heard sloshing at all. At least something to print out that would show meeting of requirements would be nice. If you don't currently make any packs small enough for TSA requirements, it would be a great product to develop!

It is suggested to wrap the product in newspaper and place in a plastic bag to keep it from leaking in the trash if it were to be punctured. Blue Ice is non-toxic.

We do not suggest flushing or running the substance down a drain.

The Blue Ice is not meant to cool hot foods and should not be submerged in the liquid/food. These are meant for keeping coolers and its contents cold.
