It says freezer safe on it so I would think so! Just remember that some fruits do not freeze well and it will ruin the smoothie if you try.

The chug bottle is freezer safe. Please do not fill to the top of the bottle, you will need to allow enough room for expansion when the liquid freezes.

Question

How do I get rid of the swampy taste...

that results if I leave water in overnight, say. I've tried different ways to get it out of the plastic - baking soda, vinegar - but don't want to end up with a different bad taste. Cleaning instructions on the label would help.

Question

Is there an insulated cooler available for the Chug?

Hi, I LOVE this product and use it everyday. Since I live in a hot climate (Australia), I have been trying to locate a thermal cooler accessory that wraps around this bottle to keep the cool in. At the moment I use a stubby cooler (beer can holder) around the bottom which keeps it cooler for longer (but doesn't look too good for work). I have seen other brands that are selling thermal accessories for their products and was wondering if there is an accessory available like this for the Chug?

It is not suggested to place boiling hot water into our beverage bottles as it can soften the plastic and damage the bottle, or cause personal injury.

These beverage bottles are BPA free.

Plasticizers, such as adipates and phthalates, are used to soften certain types of plastic (primarily PVC). These containers are not made from PVC nor do they contain any plasticizers of any type.
