The Homefree (and Configurations) shelving have different depths so that they can be overlapped to make one larger shelf.
When the Homefree bracket is installed into the upright, there will be 2 notches at the back of the bracket (near the plastic clip). Shelf A, the smallest shelf, will rest in the front notch of the bracket. Shelf B, the largest shelf, will rest in the back notch closest to the upright.
When overlapping the two shelves, Shelf A must be installed first, followed by Shelf B.
