To install the shelf onto a bracket, set the shelf on the bracket and align the wires from front to back in the bracket slots. Placing your hands on top of the shelf, push down and back quickly at the same time. Do not be afraid to use force with the shelving, as it will not break or bend. If one of the wires is not completely lined up, you will have to pull the shelf out and reinstall.

Question

Bracket length problem

I bought the 3N00 adjustable shelf kit and the 12" brackets to support them. Unfortunately the shelves are marked A & B and are different depth. The bracket lenght is too long for the smaller shelf. Is there a shorter bracket available?

The 3N00 is a HomeFree/Configurations Shelf which uses a 12" HomeFree/Configurations Bracket model # 3N02.

When installing Shelf A onto the bracket, the front lip of the shelf should be placed onto the front of the bracket. "Lay" the shelf down so that the back wire rests in the front notch of the bracket. If you need to overlap the shelving on the bracket, Shelf A but be installed first, followed by Shelf B. Once you lay Shelf B down into the bracket, it will seat in the back notch between Shelf A and the upright.

The FastTrack system does not provide an optional step to add a clothes rod. FreeSlide shelving should be used if a hang rod is needed.

The HomeFree and Configurations systems do have a clothes rod that be added with rod hangers, which attach to the shelf bracket.
