First look down at about an inch from the base of the mop handle. There is a plastic clip there, remove it.
Second look where the mop head attaches to the top mounting area .Give it a twist and and a pull and Voila! it slides right off the handle. Now the head can be cleaned however one likes.

My mop came with instructions on the back of the cardboard label/wrap. It says to: separate yarn reavealing pole and remove C-clamp near mop head, pull on mop head to remove from pole, set pole aside, hold and pull wringer handle out from inside of mop head, and launder mop head in cold water on gentle cycle, air dry

Look on the mop under the mop head and you will find a blue plastic pin. Just pull the pin out and the mop head will slide off. Easy!

Question

Why has item 6B12 been discontinued?

It's obvious people still have this mop and I should not have to pay S&H that cost more than the refill from a state across the country.

The Twister Mop 6A88 and Refills 6B12 have not been discontinued.

Rubbermaid ships by the truckload to the retailers' distribution warehouses. The individual stores order the products from these warehouses.

Question

Refills 6B12 is not available

I have tried your other shopping options, searched Walmart online, Amazon, Ebay anywhere on the internet and can not find a way to purchse the replacement head. This is a great mop, but I would not recommend it to anyone, because of this problem. Even your own links do not work, try them; just log onto the internet and try to purchase this product. If you are going to discontinue the mop so be it, but it is misleading to represent the mop as capable of head replacement when the head isnt procurable even online. Sorry Rubbermaid your are behind on this subject.
