EZ Step™ Folding Step Stool

This step stool is easy to set up or fold down for convenient and lightweight carrying and enhanced mobility. Its slim width when folded takes up minimal storage space. It stands upright on its own when folded. The stool has four skid-resistant foot pads and is resistant to rust and dents.

Unfortunately, the parts you requested are not available for direct order and are not offered by retail stores. For safety reasons, we recommend that the discarded if a foot falls off. The foot can not be properly secured except during the manufacturing process.

Is there any metal in this step stool?

I would like to use this to let my grandson use it to get out of a small pool and if metal is in it, it will rust and fall apart.

The #4209 Step stool is designed for indoor use only. It is not made of weather resistant materials and does not contain UV inhibitors to protect from sun damage.

From the floor to the first step the approx. height is 8" and from the first step to the second step the approx. height is 8.5".

The approximate weight of the step stool is 6.9 lbs and the dimensions of the stool are 19.5" L x 20.6" W x 22.7" H.

Question

Are replacement non-skid feet available?

Of the seven EZ Step step stools I've purchased over the years (for home and work), six are still around, but I've lost three feet. It seems they loosen after a few years and get easily caught on something and pop off. I use them at work to change smoke detector batteries in apartments, as the stool is compact and capable, but I keep loosing feet under tenants clothes piles, and, well, I can't exactly go back and dig around in peoples property looking for them.

What is the height of each step?

Needed to help a someone with a disability get into a higher vehicle. Cannot lift leg as high as an able bodied person. Need to know the height from ground to first step and from first to second step please.
