the product information paper said any kind of cleaner but I used Mop 'n Glo and after about six weeks, the bottle cracked. I think it was due to a chemical reaction to the plastic. I'm hoping to get a replacement because I really love this mop.

Question

Why did the handle of my Reveal Spray Mop come off?

I purchased a spray mop and was very happy the first time I used it. The second time, the handle came off in my hand. I guess it must have fallen on the floor. I've tried unsuccessfully to glue the handle back on. I hesitate to buy another one if it breaks that easily. Is it so fragile that falling on the floor causes the gray stick to break inside the red handle? I purchased it at Target and no longer have the receipt.

It is difficult to say why the handle may have broke, as it could have been damaged during shipping, at the store, or other reasons.

In instances like this, we ask that you contact our Consumer Service Department at 888-895-2110, Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET.

Question

Whay do you not reccomend using bleach

Is the only reason to not use bleach with this mop for longevity and wear of the microfiber pad? I currently use 2 spray bottles - bleach and water for tile and vinegar and water for my laminate floors. I carry a spray bottle around with me and spray as I mop. I bought this mop to eliminate having to carry and spray my floors as I mop and I love the idea of having refillable bottles.

Using bleach on the microfiber pad may degrade the pad and reduce its lifecycle. We also do not recommend using fabric softner as this may impede the microfiber pad performance as well.

Rubbermaid Reveal - Leaking

I recently purchased a Rubbermaide Reveal and really like it, except that from the second use on, it has consistently leaked (constant drip, even when not spraying). Is there some way to stop this, a design problem, or is the one I have defective?
